Tranferring from 2 year to 4 year (SENIOR IN HIGHSCHOOL) – Business Management Question?

At the moment I am looking to get in a UC school after I leave www.dvc.edu (Diablo Valley College). I used college board (collegeboard.com) to get a look at what I want to major in and I came up with (supporting my original Business Management/Marketing) Accounting/Business Management & Accounting/Finance.

According to my father after getting into a 4year school and getting those, could then work for three years and go back to school for marketing (Markting because VERY social, awards for leadership).

I heard from a friend that UC schools only take your first 70 UC transferable classes… Though Im only a senior in highschool I do not want to take classes and then have it be a problem. Right now classes for next semester would be Accounting / Excel Spreadsheets.

Help + SUGGESTIONS please.
Dvc.edu (classes) + collegeboard

Most schools will not take more than 70 hours as transfer simply because you will not have the right upper level courses if you stay in community college that long.

My big questions- why would you get a bachelors, go to work, and then go back for another one (or are you going back for a master’s, you aren’t all that clear). Basically you will knock out all of your university wide requirements (English, science, math, etc) and hit a couple classes dealing with your major and that’s about it.

Also as a warning, I know this is the case in many places, your grades from a 2 year school do NOT carry forward, only the credits. That means your GPA at the 4 year school will be based only on upper level (harder) courses. And you will not have to padding in the event you have a bad semester. Just something to keep in mind.
