Leadership, You Know It When You See It

That’s about the size of it. You can’t define leadership, not in any way that everyone will agree with or that is universal in its application.

So how can you tell if someone is a leader? It used to be that you could look at how many people are following them. That’s pretty much a non started today however, with the likes of Bernie Madoff and others like him – on Wall Street, in the pulpit, in DC, and everywhere else you look.

While we will always look for the endorsement of leaders by our peers and those we look up to, we can look at those characteristics that have identified leaders fro centuries. That define them to this day.

Leaders are loyal, courageous, decisive, they act with confidence, are emotionally fit, and have a desire to win.

Add these characteristics to those you use when considering who a leader is, how you can become one, and who can help you on your journey towards leadership development.

Here are some programs and comments I came across that may be valuable to you, if leadership and business management are important to you.
